SafeSpace functions as a place where middle and high school youth can not only meet people, but also become more comfortable expressing themselves in a healthier manner. During these sessions we not only discuss issues affecting the lives of our youth, but We Are Family also partners with other organizations to develop workshops, presentations, and group activities. With the support of two trained adult volunteers, meetings are safe and structured. Typically, SafeSpace volunteers assist with miscellaneous tasks and help keep basic order in group sessions.
The group meets every Tuesday from 7:00- 8:30 PM with a social half hour at 6:30 PM.
May 20th- Peer Advice Night
